Fresh off the press from Heather Maclean, the founder of Baby Gizmo, comes a new guide for Moms. Rather than the typical "what to buy" book, the new Baby Gizmo Buying Guide features a "how to buy" format that includes advice on whether you really need a product, when to buy it and how long your baby will use it. It claims to be a real life, everything you need to know resource that will be every expectant parent's favorite book. So what did our Mommy testers think?
The breakdown...our Mommy testers really appreciated the easy alphabetical organization of the book and feature headings such as Educational Benefits, Safety, Price and the "Why we like it" and "Why we don't" portions. Also handy were the quick reference blocks with the recommendation
sections featuring "don't need","nice to have" or "must have". For the finishing touch the last few chapters even includes helpful tips, lists and a dictionary of baby item terms.
The verdict...with so many items on the market, and so much advice coming from all
directions, it is nice to finally have a book that does all of the leg work for you. New and expectant mothers will especially appreciate the peace of mind that all the safety info will give them.
All in all, The Baby Gizmo Buying Guide is a fun, interesting read that is great for new or
expecting moms who want
to prepare for their new arrival. Even some of our veteran Mommy testers learned a few new tricks!
